Rua doesn't just teach breathwork - he wields it like an instrument, tuning the body and voice until they hum with clarity and purpose. When I was preparing for my Tedx talk, he was more than a coach; he was a mirror, reflecting back the power in my own voice. Rua's presence is both grounding and electric. He holds space like an elder and a brother combined...and helps you remember why your voice matters.

You are standing at a threshold of profound transformation.
Something in your life has already shifted.
You can feel it like a shoe that's suddenly too tight.Â
In the screaming silence between what was and what is asking to emerge is where we meet.
This is where your journey to Self-Authorship begins.

MEET RUA:
For years, I searched for meaning in achievement, recognition, and becoming someone worthy in the eyes of others. When life burned away the identity I had carefully curated, I found myself at the same threshold many of my clients now face — where the old story no longer fits, but the next one has yet to reveal itself.
Â
I felt lost and hopeless for many years, but it was through a single breath that everything began to change.
Â
What started as a personal practice became a way of returning to myself again and again. Not by finding all the answers, but by learning how to stay present long enough for truth to emerge.

I've been doing this work for almost ten years, and in that time have guided more than 1,000 people around the world towards Self-Authorship using my personal BASS framework of Breathwork, Awe, Storytelling, and Service.
Â
My path has taken me from Warner Bros sound stages in the hot hills of Los Angeles, back to my childhood home in Washington, DC, through the wet jungles of the Amazon Rain Forest, and now the beautiful shores of The Dominican Republic. Many stories have been woven along the way. Some complete. Some still burning. But all of them continue weaving together to inform who I am becoming.
Â
My role isn't to tell you who you are or what to do. It is to create the conditions where you can remember for yourself.Â
Â
Because beneath every story you've been told about who you should be... there is someone you have always been - waiting to come into form.
What is Self-Authorship?
Self-Authorship is a term coined by Harvard Psychologist Dr. Robert Kegan, as the internal capacity to define one's own beliefs, identity, and social relations.
It is the moment you stop living by the expectations of others and start listening to the internal voice that knows who you truly are. It is moving from being a character in someone else's story to being the author of your own life.
. This isn't just about self-improvement; this is a fundamental shift in how you relate to the world around you.
Â
Are you ready?

After working together, you will feel:
A Deep Sense of Knowing
Not because someone handed you the answers, but because you've learned to trust the wisdom that has always lived within you. Clarity becomes something you embody—not something you endlessly search for.
Rooted in Your Own Story
No longer defined by old identities or expectations, you'll move through life with a deeper connection to who you are and what you're here to explore. You become the author of your next chapter, rather than a spectator waiting for permission.
Rooted in Your Own Story
Alive for What Comes Next
The unknown no longer feels like something to fear. It becomes a place of possibility. You meet change with presence, curiosity, and the quiet confidence that whatever unfolds, you'll know how to meet it.
On this journey, transformation feels remembered, not forced.

My Offerings
Rua's greatest gift is helping you tap into your most authentic depths and feel encouraged enough to let them see the light. To know Rua is to know yourself more deeply.
